Air temperature to reach +40 degrees throughout Armenia in the coming days
On August 27-30, the air temperature will gradually go up by 5-7 degrees throughout Armenia due to the penetration of warm tropical air currents from the regions of Iraq, Hydromet meteorological service reported. According to the source, the highest temperatures will be registered on August 29-31 in the lowlands of the Republic, particularly in the Ararat valley and its foothills, in the valleys of Syunik province and in Yerevan city may reach up to +38 + 40 degrees. On the above-mentioned days, the high-level fire risk situation is expected in the whole territory of the Republic. We urge the population to observe the rules of fire safety.
In the daytime of August 27, on 28-31, on September 1 no precipitation is predicted. South-west wind speed is 5-10 m/s. In the daytime of August 27-30 the air temperature will gradually go up by 4-5 degrees.
