Ombudsman published new video showing Azerbaijani armed forces deliberately set fires in the vicinity of Sotk and Kut villages
Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan reiterates its statement that Azerbaijani servicemen deliberately set fires from near their tents in the vicinity of Sotk and Kut villages. In a statement on Tuesday, the Ombudsman reminds that the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan has released an official cstatement, refuting the published facts.
"All these facts were passed to the Office of the Human Rights Defender by the village residents. We have thoroughly checked them from several sources, including through objective proofs. In the initial statement not all facts were published but after the denial of the Azerbaijani ministry, we are publishing additional a video from Kut village filmed two days ago at around 22:30," Tatoyan wrote.
In the words of the Ombudsman, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry aims to cover up its criminal actions against the civilian population of the Republic of Armenia, committed in the sovereign territory of Armenia, while its Armed Forces should rule out any violation of the rights of Armenian people,' Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page.
It is noted that the Human Rights Defender of Armenia published only verified facts and there are more that published. All those are recorded and sent to international organizations.
