Artsakh denies shelling Azerbaijani position in Shushi
The Artsakh Defense Ministry on Friday denied the Azerbaijani reports alleging Artsakh forces shelled an Azerbaijani position in the Azeri-occupied town of Shushi early on Friday.
“The statement issued by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan that on September 3, between 1am and 2:15an, the Armenian side shelled one of its positions in Shushi and retreated after retaliatory actions, suffering losses is yet another disinformation,” the ministry said in a statement.
“The Defense Ministry of the Artsakh Republic reiterates that the units of the Defense Army strictly adhere to the ceasefire and take countermeasures only for preventing provocations by the enemy,” it said.
