Armenia records 501 new Covid-19 cases on September 7
Armenia has confirmed 501 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 245,765 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, the Ministry of Health reports.
398 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 229,957.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 15 to 4,939. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,164 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 9,702 active cases. As many as 1,581,821 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
