We are forced to cancel Robert Kocharyan's trip to Moscow - Armenia bloc
Opposition Armenia bloc has issued a statement about the planned trip of former President Robert Kocharyan to Moscow. The statement issued on Friday reminds that on September 19 at the invitation of Russia's ruling United Russia party Kocharyan was expected to travel to Moscow for political consultations.
"However, the RA first instance Court didn't allow Robert Kocharyan to leave for abroad. We are forced to cancel the trip. No legal ground has been presented by the court for this decision, considering President Kocharyan had visited Moscow for several times in the past, and the Court recorded no issue. We are witnessing another wave of pressure on the Court from the leadership which is aimed at restricting the political activity of Armenia bloc," the statement said, calling the move as 'an expression of personal vengeance' and 'another evidence for total lack of state mentality.'
