Vaccinated mother of Armenian health minister reportedly tests positive for coronavirus
The mother of Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan was taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan on Monday after testing positive for Covid-19, Hraparak.am reported on Tuesday, citing its sources in the hospital.
Incidentally, the minister's mother had already been vaccinated against coronavirus with Sputnik V, it said.
“We contacted Anahit Avanesyan, who was surprised by our call. In response to our question, she stated: "I am not going to say anything about such confidential information and I deeply regret that the hospital failed to keep the data secret as provided by law."
“In fact, the minister neither confirmed nor denied the news,” the media outlet said.
