
Armenia reports 20 coronavirus deaths on Sept. 22
Armenia has confirmed 273 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 254,709 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, the Ministry of Health reports.
295 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 237,263.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 18 to 5,181. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,193 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 11,072 active cases. As many as 1,664,154 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
