Armenia’s crisis management center records 311 emergencies in one week
The National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded a total of 604 cases from 13 to 19 September, of which 311 were emergent.
The number included 202 fires, 2 collapse cases, 1 strong wind case, 8 suicide attempts, 84 road traffic accidents, as well as 179 household calls, the ministry reported on Wednesday.
A total of 98 people were affected. 5 citizens were rescued due to rapid rescue operations.
The crisis management center reported 12 fatalities last week.
Also, 4 cases of poisoning were registered.
4 vehicles got stuck over the past week due to the weather conditions or other circumstances. Rescuers rendered assistance to 6 citizens, taking 4 vehicles to a safe place.
