Azerbaijanis handed over remains of one soldier to the Armenian side
On September 23, Azerbaijanis handed over a body of servicemen to the Armenian side in Shushi, killed during the 44-day war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). As the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh’s Interior Ministry reported, the body is yet to be identified through a forensic medical examination.
According to the source, no search operations were conducted on Friday. The State Service of Emergency Situations will provide further information on the upcoming search operations.
Since the end of hostilities, a total of 1,670 bodies have been found and recovered from the Azerbaijani-occupied territories of Artsakh.
