Defense minister receives the Head of ICRC Delegation
Armenia's Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan received on Friday the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation to Armenia Thierry Ribaut. As the press service at the ministry reported, Thierry Ribaut congratulated Karapetyan on assuming the responsible position, highlighting the efficient cooperation between the two structures. The Head of Delegation expressed hope the projects implemented jointly will acquire a new level of quality and scope.
During the meeting, the sides also pointed to the need of urgent return of people captured during the 44-day war of 2020 and discussed issues of clarifying the fates of missing people.
The interlocutors also expressed readiness to continue awareness-raising activities in the field of International Humanitarian Law and implement educational projects in the Armed Forces.
