Armenian MP: Risks of renewed hostilities in region haven't been eliminated
Armenian MP Tigran Abrahamyan, who represents the opposition I’m Honored parliamentary faction, says the risks of renewed hostilities in the South Caucasus region are still there one year after the 44-day war in Artsakh.
"There was much talk about this war over the past year, starting from the main culprit and responsible person up to the root causes of the defeat,” he wrote on Facebook on Monday.
The lawmaker stated that the risks of renewed military operations in the region have not been eliminated. Nevertheless, in his opinion, it is not the worst thing.
"The problem is that in the current difficult situation the country is still led by the authorities, which do not have a chance or will to confront any threat," Abrahamyan said.
