Armenian government provides around 13.5 billion drams to Artsakh
At a meeting on Thursday, the Armenian government decided to provide around 13.5 billion drams to Artsakh.
Presenting the draft decision, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan said 1.2 billion drams of the sum will be spent to pay the utility bills of the people, while 12.2 billion drams will be allocated to Artsakh as an interstate loan.
He noted that the financial assistance is provided on the basis of a donation agreement to finance electricity, natural gas and communication services in October, as well as various sectors of the economy.
Nikol Pashinyan said in turn that since November 2020 the Armenian government has provided nearly 100 billion drams to Artsakh in financial aid.
