Air pollution exceeded safety limits in Yerevan
The concentration of pollutants in the air of downtown Yerevan exceeded safety limits on September 23, 27 and 29, in Nor Nork community of the capital city on September 26-28, Shengavit community - on September 27 and in Arabkir community - on September 24, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring center at the Ministry of Environment reported.
The data received from the monitoring of the quality of the air basin held in the capital city reveal that nitrogen oxide exceeded the acceptable norm on September 23, 25, 28 and 29 in the central community of the city, on September 24 in Arabkir community, on September 28 - in Shengavit and during the week in Nor Nork district.
According to the source, the concentration of sulphur dioxide has been within the accepted norms in the city.
