Armenian athletes record impressive results at European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships
Armenian weightlifters continue their impressive performances at international tournaments, this time at European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships held in Rovaniemi, Finland from September 24 to October 3.
As the National Olympic Committee reported, the Armenian team was represented at the tournament by 18 athletes, 15 of whom received awards.
Nine athletes took gold as a result of their score in the double event, while three athletes won bronze, another three - silver medals.
As a result of all individual and double events Armenia's representative collected 40 medals and placed the first in the team rankings.
