Ararat Mirzoyan received Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus
Armenia's FM Ararat Mirzoyan received on Tuesday the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus Annika Soder, the press department at the foreign ministry reported.
During the meeting, FM Mirzoyan highlighted the role of OSCE as an organisation based on the concept of comprehensive security and cooperation. In this context, the minister attached importance to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, the activity of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and his personal representative.
Mirzoyan pointed to the need of urgent return of all Armenian prisoners and civilians kept in Azerbaijan and the humanitarian issues emerged as a result of the 44-day war.
Mirzoyan also stressed that lasting peace can be established in the region only under the auspices of OSCE Minsk Group though comprehensive settlement of the NK conflict.
