
Armenia adds 1,155 new Covid-19 cases on Oct. 6
Armenia has confirmed 1,155 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 267,363 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 8,947 Covid-19 tests were conducted on October 3.
381 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 245,757.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 20 to 5,440. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,221 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 14,945 active cases. As many as 1,770,914 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
