‘Arrest those who issue fake vaccination certificates’, Pashinyan tells police, NSS
Nikol Pashinyan told the Armenian police and the National Security Service (NSS) to take strict measures against fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Thursday, he said the anti-vaccination campaign has become a global issue.
Pashinyan said all members of his family, except for his young children, have been vaccinated.
“I appeal to the police and the National Security Service: detain and arrest all those who will issue fake vaccination certificates, those doctors who take advantage of the opportunity not to vaccinate people and spoil the vaccines. Strict measures must be taken,” he said, calling the attention of the prosecutor general and the investigative bodies to the issue.
Pashinyan told the officials to report on the solution of problems at cabinet meetings from now on, saying he “does not care” how they are resolved.
