Iran does not tolerate Israel's presence near its borders - Foreign Ministry
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated on Monday that the Islamic Republic would not tolerate Israel's presence near its borders. Khatibzadeh's comments came at his weekly press conference in response to Iran Press’ question. "Iran’s message is crystal clear, and it has been shown in practice that Israel cannot be present nearby."
Referring to the Israel’s presence in Baku, Khatibzadeh underlined that Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan must not let third parties interfere.
“Israel likes to see our region insecure,” he added. He went on to say that Israel brings about no consequences but insecurity, instability and terrorism wherever it shows up.
“Iran is serious about its national security and all of Iran's neighbors know it very well,” the spokesman concluded.
