Armenia reported 44 Covid-19 deaths on Oct. 12
Armenia has confirmed 903 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 273,860 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 7,472 Covid-19 tests were conducted on October 11. 897 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 250,055.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 43 to 5,575. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,228 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 16,959 active cases. As many as 1,818,603 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
