Armenia records 1,765 new Covid cases on Oct. 15
Armenia has confirmed 1,765 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 278,431 as of 11 a.m. Friday, October 15, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 15,616 Covid-19 tests were conducted on October 14.
881 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 252,211.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 38 to 5,713. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,232 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 19,275 active cases. As many as 1,855,238 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
