Azerbaijani forces open fire at military ambulance in Artsakh – Defense Ministry
The Azerbaijani troops opened fire at an ambulance of the Artsakh Defense Army unit in the country’s north east, the Defense Ministry of Artsakh reported.
The incident took place on Friday, at around 9am.
There are no casualties from the Armenian side, the ministry said.
Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh were alerted about the incident.
“The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh declares that it continues to adhere to the ceasefire regime and calls on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from destabilizing actions,” the ministry said.
Earlier on Thursday, Azerbaijani forces opened fire at a military outpost in Artsakh’s east, injuring six Armenian servicemen. Shootings were also reported at several other sections of the contact line.
