MP Tigran Abrahamyan advises Armenian army chief not to ‘make him mad’
Security expert Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition With Honor faction, says the chief of the Armenian military’s General Staff has failed to respond to his request to visit the Sotk-Khoznavar border section for more than three weeks.
"On September 22, I applied to Artak Davtyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, telling him that as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense and Security I would like to visit the Sotk-Khoznavar border section to get acquainted with the situation on the ground,” he wrote on Facebook on Saturday.
“The General Staff chief has not responded to my letter in violation of the law.
“I give two days to Chief of the General Staff Artak Davtyan to respond to my letter. I advise him not to make me mad,” Abrahamyan said.
