EU, NATO Special Reps to visit Armenia as part of the regional tour
The newly-appointed Special Representative of NATO for the South Caucasus and Central Asia Xavier Colomina and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivi Klaar plan to visit Armenia this week as part of the regional tour.
"Looking forward to my first trip to the Caucasus next week. I will be visiting Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia in my new capacity as NATO Special Rep for the Caucasus and Central Asia in order to identify ways to further enhance NATO’s engagement in the Caucasus," Colomina tweeted.
Meanwhile, European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia announced about upcoming trip to Baku, Yerevan and Tbilisi. "Takeoff again for meetings in Baku, Tbilisi and Yerevan. The European Union is engaged to work with its partners for a South Caucasus that is prosperous and at peace," Klaar tweeted.
