Spain to open diplomatic mission Yerevan
Spain plans to open diplomatic missions in Armenia, Belarus and Uzbekistan in 2022 to boost bilateral relations with countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares has stated.
El Diario reports, that the opening of new diplomatic missions is listed in the draft budget (PGE) with the Spanish Cabinet undertaking structural changes to promote dialogue with EU Eastern Partnership states and countries of Central Asia. To note, in the region of South Caucasus Spain has Embassies in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
