Armen Ashotyan: Any deal at the expense of Armenia’s interests can be prevented only by destroying myth of 'popular support’
Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Armen Ashotyan accused Nikol Pashinyan of engaging in secret talks.
"The supreme land giver continues to hide from the Armenian people not only information about the internal life of the country, our losses during the war and after it and regression, but also about the processes taking place in the context of recent developments in the world and the region,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
"So, Nikol is hiding from us the following:
1. On what terms is the document on the Armenian-Azerbaijani comprehensive settlement being prepared, as hinted at by the French ambassador to Armenia?
2. What are the promises underlying the border delimitation and demarcation process trumpeted by Azerbaijan?
3. What is the content of the Armenian-Turkish shadow arrangements, which are also mediated by the prime minister of Georgia?
4. Under what conditions does Armenia agree to and get involved in the processes around the "3+3" format?
5. What does the new integration process led by the Russian Federation, which is hinted at by various means, imply?
“Both the capitulant and those negotiating with him are basing their decisions about our future on the proverbial 53% support behind our backs.
“Any deal at the expense of our interests can be prevented only by destroying the myth of 'popular support,'" Ashotyan said.
