‘When I am Sad’ selected for CINANIMA Animated Film Festival of Portugal
“When I am Sad” animation directed by Lilit Altunyan has been selected for the official competition program of the world’s third oldest animated film festival CINANIMA Animated Film Festival of Espinho, Portugal, which will take place in early November, the National Cinema Center of Armenia reports.
The animated film is an Armenian-French coproduction produced with the financial support of the National Cinema Center.
The world premiere of the movie took place on the sidelines of the Animest International Animation Film Festival in Romania on October 15, and the Asian premiere will kick off before the participation in CINANIMA in October at the Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF) in South Korea.
The production company is Hoshkee FILM (co-production by Folimage, France). The scriptwriters are Lilit Altunyan and Armine Anda, the producer is Armine Anda. The film stars Armine Anda (Armenian Voice), Nairi Khatchadourian (French Voice) and Victoria Aleksanyan (English Voice).
