Opposition MP Davit Sedrakyan quits
MP Davit Sedrakyan from the opposition Armenia faction stepped down on Friday, according to a statement released by the parliament.
In accordance with the rules of procedure of the National Assembly, if within a week after the announcement of the resignation, the MP retracts his resignation letter, the parliament speaker will make a respective statement, otherwise a protocol on the termination of his duties will be drawn up, signed and publicized.
“The resignation is considered accepted from the moment of the publication of the protocol,” reads the statement.
