National Assembly to discuss delimitation issues at a closed sitting
The one-fifth of the total number of Armenian parliamentarian proposed to hold an urgent discussion concerning the situation on the contact line between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijani Republic and hold it in closed format, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan stated on Tuesday during the regular sitting of the parliament. The parliamentarians next voted to approve the list of representative of the government invited to the discussion.
According to it, Commander of Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service (NSS) Arman Maralchyan and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Kamo Qochunts are be invited to the sitting. Opposition 'Armenia' bloc member Artsvik Minasyan raised the issue of inviting FM Mirzoyan to the discussion and inquired why the letter has not been included in the list. In response, Rubinyan said the proposal of the opposition had been submitted to the Government and the latter found it appropriate the above mentioned officials to attend the sitting.
