NPP, Yerevan Institute of Physics to produce oxygen for Covid-19 hospitals around the clock
The Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and the Yerevan Institute of Physics will produce oxygen around the clock to meet the needs of Covid-19 hospitals, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday.
The stations supplying oxygen to medical centers treating coronavirus patients have been overloaded in recent days.
Disruptions resulting from intense work have been eliminated, while the number of patients in need of oxygen in hospitals is growing.
“More than 15 operating oxygen stations have now been joined by the Nuclear Power Plant and the Yerevan Institute of Physics, which will produce oxygen for hospitals 24 hours a day,” the ministry said.
