UK ambassador takes a test-drive around Yerevan in new electric Jaguar I-Pace
UK Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher took a test-drive around Yerevan in a new electric Jaguar I-Pace, the British Embassy reported on Saturday.
“Imagine what the world would be like if all cars were electric. Both air quality and public health would be greatly improved. And it would be more cost effective too, because electricity is a lot cheaper than petrol or diesel,” the embassy said.
“In the run-up to the COP26 Climate Change conference in Glasgow, British Ambassador John Gallagher took a test-drive around Yerevan in a new electric Jaguar I-Pace, to highlight the importance of a transition to clean transport in our efforts to tackle climate change," it noted.
