Court hearing in Kocharyan's case postponed to November 9
The court hearing in the case of second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan was postponed for a week, presiding judge Anna Danibekyan announced on Tuesday.
The reason was the ex-president's absence from the hearing. His lawyer Hayk Alumyan said that Kocharyan had some flu-like symptoms. He had a low fever during the night, and took medication as prescribed by the doctor. Also, he had muscle and joint pain.
According to the lawyer, Kocharyan did not attend the hearing not to infect others.
The court hearing was postponed to November 9.
