No negotiations underway with Turkey at present, FM Mirzoyan says
"Armenia is ready to normalise relations with Turkey without any preconditions, and that is reflected in the government programme," FM Ararat Mirzoyan told an interview with Nouvelles d'Arménie magazine. Asked about the prospects of Armenian-Turkish relations, Mirzoyan said: "The absence of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey, the closed borders, as well as Turkey's explicit involvement in the 44-day war, the ongoing statements about the so-called 'Zangezur corridor' have a negative impact on the regional stability. However, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has voiced the position of the Armenian side in his public remarks. In case of readiness from Turkey to normalize relations and respective actions, Armenia is ready to discuss the possibility for establishing bilateral relations. At the same time, I want to stress that at present no negotiation process is underway with Turkey."
