With Honor bloc to join November 8 rally in Yerevan, Vanetsyan says
The opposition With Honor bloc will join the rally to be held by another opposition alliance, Armenia, in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on November 8, With Honor parliamentary faction head Artur Vanetsyan told reporters on Thursday.
“The parties that make up the With Honor bloc have announced their intention to join the rally as ordinary participants,” he said.
"The organizers are our partners, we support that agenda, and will not deliver speeches," Vanetsyan added.
Also, he said he has no knowledge of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Chairman Serzh Sargsyan’s possible participation in the rally.
Separately, Vanetsyan blamed Nikol Pashinyan for "turning to dust" everything that the country’s previous presidents left him – some 12,500 square kilometers of the Artsakh territory, a good standing in the negotiation process on the Karabakh conflict settlement, a secure country and a combat-ready army.
He stressed that the text of his resignation as the National Security Service director should have been a “wake-up call” to everyone at the time, rather than an occasion to try to discredit him with “false statements and absurd allegations”.
