Armenia may require negative PCR test results every seven days for unvaccinated workers
Unvaccinated employees in Armenia may be required to take a PCR test once a week instead of every 14 days as it is now, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan told a briefing on Thursday.
“We will suggest changing the period of valid negative PCR test results from 14 to 7 days,” the minister said.
According to her, the draft order will be put into circulation today. If adopted, the new rule will come into effect on December 1.
She also said there are other proposals that will be discussed by the interdepartmental commission.
Currently, all workers in the country have to either present their employers with a Covid-19 vaccination certificate, or take a PCR test every 14 days.
