15 people hospitalized after eating at Tashir Pizza in Yerevan
Fifteen people have fallen sick after eating food from famous Tashir Pizza pizzerias chain in Yerevan.
They were hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases with a primary diagnosis of an intestinal infection, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention at the Ministry of Health reported on Friday.
Two children aged 10 and 13 are among the victims, it said.
All the poisoned people said that they had eaten at Tashir Pizza pizzerias located on Northern Avenue (13 people) and Khanjyan Street (two people).
The condition of the patients is assessed as moderate.
The Armenian Food Safety Inspectorate has already started monitoring activities at both catering chain facilities.
