Tigran Abrahamyan: Army reforms to stall amid current Armenian authorities’ ‘dilettantism, lack of will’
Security expert and opposition With Honor faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan criticized the slow pace of military reforms in Armenia.
“The Artsakh Defense Army urgently needs restoration and reforms, and it still has a long way to go, but the changes made in the Defense Army in the post-war period are a few steps ahead of Armenia’s situation,” Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook on Friday.
“I continue to insist that we have officers, generals in the military, as well as reservists who can play a key role in the army reforms and advance any difficult process, but due to the conduct of the current Armenian authorities, their dilettantism and lack of will for deep-rooted reforms, the reforms, and accordingly, the process of restoring the security will either stall or will not yield the necessary results,” the MP said.
