One killed in traffic accident on Tashir-Stepanavan highway in Armenia
One person was killed in a road traffic accident on Armenia’s Tashir-Stepanavan highway on Saturday, shortly after midnight, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The accident was reported to the Lori Regional Crisis Management Center at 12:21am. One team of firefighters and rescuers was dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that a BMW had left the road and rolled into a ditch.
Eyewitnesses helped the passenger to get out of the car and be taken to hospital.
With the help of rescuers, the driver was hospitalized at the Tashir Medical Center, where he later died without regaining consciousness.
