Turkey orders drone engines from Ukraine
The Turkish manufacturer of combat drones, Baykar Makina, has signed a contract for the supply of AI-322F jet engines with the Ukrainian company Ivchenko-Progress for Bayraktar MİUS drones, the local sources reported.
“On the second day of SahaExpo2021, we signed contracts for the supply of AI-322F engines by the leading Ukrainian company Ivchenko-Progress for our MİUS (combat unmanned aircraft system – ed.) Project,” the message by the Turkish manufacturer said.
It is noted that at first the Ukrainian enterprise will develop engines for pre-production cars – after successfully passing all the tests, they will be supplied in large quantities.
