Opposition calls urgent session of parliament
The opposition factions of the National Assembly have initiated an extraordinary session of parliament on Monday at 20.00, member of 'Armenia' bloc Gegham Manukyan informed. In his words, the situation occurred in the country is on the agenda of the session. The session will be preceded by the National Assembly Council sitting, Manukyan added.
To remind, the Armenian Security Council on Monday issued a statement confirming that Azerbaijani forces used armored vehicles to intrude into Armenia’s sovereign territory in one of the eastern sections of the border on Sunday.
The Security Council also claims that as a result of the Azerbaijani advance, four Armenian army outposts were encircled.
