All healthy national forces in Armenia need to consolidate and stand in support of army – Homeland Party
The opposition Homeland Party released a statement on the situation after the fresh Azerbaijani attack on Armenia’s border. The statement reads:
"Taking into account yet another aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia by the adversary and the unfolding military actions, the Homeland Party Council held an emergency meeting.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to suspend the campaign for the local elections and to cancel the political events associated with it.
We record that Armenia and Artsakh are facing an existential threat due to the anti-national and defeatist governance of the current regime led by Nikol Pashinyan. Consequently, the Armenian authorities are fully responsible for all security issues.
Taking into consideration the above mentioned, it is obvious that all the healthy national forces of Armenia need to consolidate and stand in support of our military.
Proceeding from this, the Homeland Party declares that it will use all its resources to support the army, its officers and military personnel to give an adequate counterattack to the adversary and to drive them out of our homeland.
At the same time, we deem it necessary to underscore that the unbridled actions of Azerbaijan must be met with a very harsh reaction from international organizations and the entire civilized world.
The sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and the security of our citizens must not become an object of bargaining under any circumstances.”
