Military actions launched on the sovereign territory of Armenia, Grigoryan tells Patrushev
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan has met with Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev on the sidelines of the 9th meeting of CIS Security Council Secretaries in Moscow, the press service at the Security Council reported.
During the conversation, Armen Grigoryan briefed in detail on the situation created as a result of military actions initiated by Azerbaijan. Grigoryan specifically stressed that the military actions were launched on the sovereign territory of Armenia, and the Azerbaijani forces should leave the sovereign territory of Armenia.
Patrushev, in turn, expressed hope for the deescalation of the situation, adding the Russia side is ready to provide necessary support for the process of demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as soon as possible.
