Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue pressuring on weak authorities in Armenia - Gegham Nazaryan
"The war has not ended since September 27, 2020. Azerbaijan and Turkey have not fulfilled their tasks," member of opposition 'Armenia' bloc Gegham Nazaryan told reporters at parliament.
In his words, Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue exerting pressures on weak authorities in Armenia through local clashes and military provocations, likewise through diplomacy and psychological means. He added the enemy wants not a road but territories they would like to control, thus cutting Syunik province from other parts of Armenia.
"They have found the weak spot, and those are Armenian leaders. I have repeatedly said that this happens as we have the symbol of defeat in power, and our losses become continuous," said the opposition MP.
"The opposition factions have been working since yesterday, holding meetings with members and heads of diplomatic missions, holding consultations with various political forces to address the current situation, Some of the faction members are in Syunik," said Nazaryan.
