Armenian government OKs 2021-2026 draft action plan
The Armenian government approved the draft action plan for 2021-2026 at a meeting on Thursday.
Presenting the draft document at the cabinet meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said the action plan consists of 1,276 measures, with 439 main strategic goals set.
It also reflects the implementation process of Armenia’s commitments under the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, as well as the programs to be implemented within the €2.6 billion aid package to be provided to Armenia under the EU Economic and Investment Plan, he said.
Grigoryan underscored that the document is in accordance with both the key provisions of the EAEU strategic programs and the strategic frameworks approved by the international organizations and donors for Armenia, particularly in terms of policy goals.
“I would like to emphasize that the document must become the government’s main work plan,” he said.
Nikol Pashinyan noted in turn that the measures envisaged by the action plan have been announced publicly.
