Body of Armenian soldier transferred from Baku to Yerevan through Muradov’s mediation
On Wednesday evening, the body of an Armenian serviceman killed during the hostilities after the recent Azerbaijani provocation was transferred from Baku to Yerevan via a special flight through the mediation of Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District of Russia, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported.
Muradov held a meeting with Armenia's new Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, the ministry said.
During the meeting, the Armenian defense minister presented the Russian general with details of the clashes that took place at the border on Tuesday, as well as data on the captured servicemen.
The sides agreed to continue intensive work on the return of the captives, as well as on the search for the missing.
