Tigran Abrahamyan: The main message to the public by authorities is they do not plan to deal with Armenia's real priorities
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan writes on Facebook. "The authorities didn't perceive that the eternal election of the Deputy Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security issues not only downgrades the the situation in Armenia's security environment, but also sends a message to the public they are not planning to deal with Armenia's real priorities."
In Abrahamyan's words, instead of perceiving simple questions and warning against real security challenges, the authorities, especially the Chairman of the Standing Committee deals with everything except his direct duties.
"There is no issue about the election of the Deptuy Chairman of the Committee as everything has been said over the past 2-3 months," Abrahamyan added.
To remind, the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the Armenian parliament has refused to appoint opposition lawmaker Artur Ghazinyan as its deputy chairman for nine times.
