Police detain two protesters in Yerevan Metro
Police officers detained two protesters in the Yerevan Metro, the press service of the law enforcement agency told Panorama.am.
"The citizens were detained for their failure to comply with police officers’ lawful demand under Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses," the police said.
Members of the Liberation Movement initiative group had blocked traffic at the Yeritasardakan metro station since early Wednesday morning, urging people to gather at the Republic Square for a rally in the evening.
The group has been holding rallies in the Armenian capital since Monday in an effort to prevent the signing of the document on the demarcation and delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan.
