5165 opposition movement to no longer join street protests in Yerevan
The 5165 opposition movement announced its decision to no longer join the street protests and rallies organized by the Liberation Movement initiative group in Yerevan.
The movement members will hold an urgent news conference on Monday to speak about the reasons behind their decision.
The 5165 movement will also unveil its future plans, demands and new struggle mechanisms, it said in a Facebook post.
Speaking at a rally in Yerevan on Saturday, Liberation Movement member and leader of the opposition Zartonk (Awakening) party Ara Zohrabyan said that the movement demanded the resignation of Armenia’s prime minister and president.
