New governor of Armenia’s Armavir takes office
New Governor of Armenia’s Armavir Province Eduard Hovhannisyan took office on Thursday.
"Efficient regional, territorial administration is one of the key directions for the development of our country's economy and the state building as a whole. I am grateful for this opportunity, Mr. Prime Minister," he said.
Previously, Hovhannisyan served as chairman of the State Revenue Committee.
Prior to his speech, Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the newly appointed governor and wished him success.
