Armenia reports 558 new Covid cases on Dec. 2
Armenia has confirmed 558 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 339,578 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, December 2, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 9,013 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 1.
716 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 318,481.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 21 to 7,631. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,450 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 12,016 active cases. As many as 2,382,972 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
