Andrea Wiktorin: Humanitarian issues must be resolved urgently
Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin hopes that humanitarian issues will be addressed during the upcoming meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Brussels.
"We are in contact with both sides, we have the discussions ongoing. We hope that we can help develop the situation,” she told reporters on Friday.
The EU envoy said they hope to have another meeting on the sidelines of the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on 15 December to discuss humanitarian issues.
Wiktorin underscored that humanitarian issues must be resolved urgently.
